Hi everyone
Arrived in Halifax safely on Tuesday, Mary and Caroline were waiting, after driving from home in a snowstorm. Finally got to PEI and went to supper at O'Farrens; 2 for 1 steak $6.95
Finally got to the house at 21:00, wood stove was out!!!
Will get around to everyone in the next few days...

Just sent a message that apparently did not go.... we are just waiting on the water taxi to Caye Cauker for the afternoon and are leaving tomorrow for Houston and Newark around 3PM

Hi Everyone
We arrived in Belize City yesterday afternoon (Sat) around 16:30 and booked in at the Chateau Carribean next door to the Radisson, all is well and we got a rest from the almost 12 hr trip down here, the last part was a chicken bus ride for 3hr 30 minutes and 59 stops... but it only cost US$2.75 ea. Going to Caye Caulker today on the water taxi and will be back tonight, Then we will go visit Moho Caye for the evening. Lisa our driver is to pick us up for the airport at 12:30 tomorrow. Newark by midnight then HFX on Tuesday.. See ya all soon...

Have a good trip back! They will probably have a ticker tape parade in Summerside to welcome you back. (they being Mary and Caroline) keep in the ho- ho spirit or is that supposed to be spirits, anyway, God speed and keep the wind at your back.

Hi Dick,, Very much enjoying your site and check it often for updates. I am contemplating a trip to Belize this winter so you insights are valuable to me. Sadly it won't be by water am thinking of driving down in Jan.

Hi Dad,
I am happy to see you are having a great time!! Can't wait to see you at Christmas. Mom is doing well, we make each other supper a couple times a week now that Evan is curling so much. Mom is cozying up to Genny even, talking to her all the time! I'll make her an animal lover yet.
We bought a boat, C&C 33', she is navy blue. Evan is going over with Greg and Blair this Saturday to hand the check to the broker. We will need some help sailing her back from Halifax in the spring.

As always, I continue to enjoy your commentary and photos.

Felt the urge to add clarification to your comments re "Canada's 2 new provinces". The Northwest Territories divided in two in 1999 to form Nunavut (the Eastern Arctic) and the remaining Western Arctic continues to be the Northwest Territories. Iqaluit (formerly known as Frobisher Bay) is the capital of Nunavut.

It was -40 C here in Yellowknife this a.m. Your hot falls look REALLY GOOD.

Think things went through today OK. I am at Backpackers Hotel just down the street from Whitecap and connected to their network.
Still no mail in except a few here and there now.

Regards to everyone. The dock fees here at Lube's are $us 90 per mo, and Moho Caye is US550 per mo, wonder if we should leave her here for Christmas and bus to Belize City???
After all the work we still have a leak.... requires twice daily for about 30 seconds, not much but has to be done. Fixed toilet today and she is working properly now.

Hi Grampy!
Sorry this is late but happy birthday anyway. How's it going? We just decorated for christmas and we have the winches strippded apart. About 100 pieces, we have pictures as a guideline but when we tried to put them together we had several pieces left over. So that's your christmas & birthday present. If you can't finish it we're in trouble.

Hi everyone, sent message this AM from Punta Gorda but it did not get through.... We bellied up to the bar here at 14:23 and have been doing the port captain thing since, heading up the river shortly about 2 miles for a frr night at La Marina, they could leaRN FROM vOGUE oPTICAL!!!

Will send again from Fronteres tomorrow. Eating well, lobster and fish and rum and beer and rum.....
